Museums in June

In June we visited 2 Museums.

We visited the Children's museum of Tacoma with Janel and Cannon and Colson.  ALL of the boys had a blast, and Janel and I had a nice time catching up.

For Mother's Day this year, we decided to spend money on a membership to the Pacific Science Center.  It has proven to be a great investment so far.

What a fun way for our boys to explore, touch and get some energy out!

Peak Preschool 2013 Graduation

I am playing catch up in my blogging.  I finally got a number of photos off my phone and am able to sit down for a minute to catch up a little at a time.

On June 6th Evan graduated from his first year of preschool.  What a bittersweet day!  Evan has grown and matured so much in this year and we are so proud of him and the "big boy" he is becoming.

He entered preschool a shy little  boy, just a baby. We were so worried he wouldn't be able to leave us and he would cry.  We were worried he would act u for the teachers and not do what he was told.  We were worried about leaving our little boy to "fend for himself" as any parent would be, but he did AWESOME!
He did have a rough first 2 weeks, but he soon snapped out of it and made a best friend and learned a lot.

1st and 4th Birthday Party

On July 21st we had a joint birthday party for the boys' 1st and 4th birthdays.  Morgan and Riley's theme was Dr. Seuess' Thing 1 and Thing 2 and Evan's theme was dinosaurs (of course).

We had a blast despite the fact that a lot of people didn't show up.  But Evan had his good friends Lilly, and Cannon there and his cousin Naomee got to be there along with his other cousin Madison.  It was just the right amount of people for just the right amount of fun.

Instead of goodie bags we had a treat table. Everyone was invited to fill a bag with goodies on their way out the door.  This was a HUGE success!

New Swing Set

As an early BIG birthday present to all 3 boys we wanted to get them a swing set.  We spent HOURS upon HOURS researching the best, one in our budget range, a kit or build our own.  Finally we decided to just take a quick look on craigslist and found someone selling the perfect starter swing set for our small boys and it was like new and for half the price! Perfect. The boys LOVE it!

A great set to last while they are young....hopefully that is a long time.
