I want to always remember:
- How Evan still has his little blanket and how he folds it over his finger and plays with it. How he knows just by feeling a certain corner that it is his blanket.
- How Riley says "bless you" every time someone sneezes or coughs
- How determined Morgan is to climb EVERYTHING especially to get to the computer
- How much all 3 boys love Katy Perry's song 'Roar' and no matter what chaos is going on, or how upset someone is, all we have to do is You Tube that song and all 3 boys gravitate to the computer and start dancing. I love how Evan knows almost every word, and how Morgan and Riley try so hard to sing it.
- How crazy Evan is about dinosaurs. He is OBSESSED! Right now he is obsessed with the Schleich dinosaur figures that open and close their mouths. They are not cheap, but he works very hard to save his allowance for them (plus mom and dad make sure he gets one every so often). He can tell you a lot of facts about dinosaurs and is proud of what he knows. His favorite dinos are T-Rex, Allosaurus, spinosaurus and most recently gigantosaurus. He spends time looking up dinosaur videos on You Tube and enjoys watching videos where other people show and discuss their collections. I don't know how long he will continue to be interested in dinosaurs, but I am loving his passion.
- How Morgan tells the best stories all in a series of cute little grunts and smiles and finger points. When he is telling on himself for doing something wrong is when he gets the most excited. He recently had tubes in his ears so he is now producing words to sneak in there and is starting to repeat Riley and me.
- How Riley is a sugar hound! He shakes and cries when he sees candy or cookies and says "treat" or "cookie" and points to what he wants while jumping up and down. Poor kid has my sweet tooth! So far he has the metabolism to support it!
- How Evan says "absolutely" all the time, even in the wrong context. "I am absolutely NOT going to eat that." "You are absolutely going to have to watch this video" "Oh no you absolutely didn't!" This kid kills me. Some other things he says are "seriously?!?", "Really?!?" "That's ridiculous!" "You've got to be kidding me?!?" I know where it comes from.....ME...ooops!
- How Riley dances ALLLLL the time! Every time music comes on he dances, and with some practice, he could have moves!
- How Morgan is quiet and mischevious. When all is quiet you know Morgan is either into something, on top of something or in rare (but not out of the question) instances, has left the house. I swear he is going to kill me!
- How all 3 boys love to hug and snuggle their mommy and daddy. How they light up when daddy walks into the room, or when daddy trows them on the bed and they wrestle. How they wrap their arms around my neck and kiss me with a "mmmwaaaw" sound. How they are starting to wrestle and fight like brothers do and how we are coming to peace with that. How noisy our house is ALL THE TIME and how we find it annoying and stressful now, but know that we will miss it when they are gone. We love these boys and just look forward to so many more times/memories/things that we won't want to forget.
