Our year had a rough start with 2 sick babies :-( Yep throwing up! We haven't had that from Evan yet, so this was a surprise, and when they both got it....yikes! It wasn't terrible, better that it happened at once rather than one right after the other. They both took it in stride and then moved on :-)
Evan started taking great interest in puzzles and can do big ones on his own pretty well now. He is proud of himself everytime he puts together a puzzle that has 24 pieces or more!
Some are even as big as him!
Nana came over and we tested out the swings for the first time this year. It was a sunny, but COLD day!
Open gym at Peak Gymnastics used to be one of Evan's favorite things to do as a baby. I decided to try to take all 3 boys to open gym and meet a friend.....it was fun, but I sure am glad I had extra hands there!
Morgan and Riley got new Yo Gabba Gabba shirts and boy are they proud of them! They love them!
We had a successful dentist appointment this month and all 3 boys got their teeth brushed. Evan got his teeth polished and all 3 boys got fluoride on their teeth. NO CAVITIES for anyone!!
This is how I found Riley after nap one morning.....completely naked! He is experimenting with what he can do on his own :-)
We finally used our gift certificate to NW Trek and we had a blast! Morgan and Riley could not handle sitting on the tram ride for an hour so we walked around by ourselves whiles Evan and Tony rode the tram. We saw cool animals and the boys got to run around for a while.
We LOVE our school...Mountain Meadow. We feel like kids get such an amazing education there right from the start and we also feel that they truly care about our kids education. I get the joy of working there often and I love that Evan gets to attend school there. He has learned so much and grown so much in just one year. Every year the school hosts a Literacy Night where each classroom models a book or piece of writing through art, a skit, an activity etc. and students and their parents attend and have a chance to see what they are learning and how they are learning. Then all the students are invited to a free book and families can enjoy cookies and juice and a visit to the book fair. It was a great night! So much fun...OH and you get to dress as your favorite book character. Evan doesn't really have a favorite book character, but dinosaurs and dragons are in a lot of the books he reads so he wore his Halloween costume which made the night even more fun!
My last 2 random January pictures....a trip to the barber shop where we ALWAYS have to put on the cool "shades" that Daa has, and my little monkeys in the tub at the end of an exhausting day.....I wouldn't trade it for the world!
