Firsts

Evan had a couple of firsts in the last week......

He has his first pet(s)...4 gold fish.  It started out as one that he received from Autumn fest, but we had decided that that fish needed a friend and they definitely needed a proper home.  So we bought an inexpensive fish tank that had everything we needed in it, Tony found a few trinkets for it from Goodwill, and then we bought 3 more gold fish at Petco.  All 4 fish are happily swimming in their tank and Evan LOVES to stand and watch them any chance he gets.  He also reminds me that we need to feed them, mostly because he really like to do that :-)

The other first for Evan was not so fun.  Evan sprained his ankle :-(  He jumped off the couch and landed wrong.  I saw his ankle and foot bend weird and he cried like never before.  We took him to the ER the morning after it happened because he was still limping and they did X-rays on him.....he was not a fan!  He is still limping today and just last night hurt his ankle again!  We may be back at the Dr. next week.  First ER visit due to injury.....not something I care to remember but it is still something to remember and look back on when he is older!
