Evans 10 Favorite Things

At two years old Evan has many things, activities and places that he loves.....there is Oh Baby the consignment store in town that he loves to go to, Papa Murphy's Pizza because he loves pizza, mama's car, our bike, etc. etc.  Here is a list of Evans top 10 favorite things:

1. His Blanket -  Nana made two of these especially for him and he has to take them EVERYWHERE, and he has to have them while he sleeps.  He plays with the silky part, folding it in between his fingers. Precious.



2. Binkies - He is never without one and it is going to be one hard habit to break!

3. Driving - Any chance he gets, Evan loves to get in the drivers seat of daddy's van and "drive".  When we get in the car to go somewhere he often asks "drive mama?" because he really wants a turn at the wheel!

4. CARS Movie Cars - Evan has recently discovered the movie Cars.  It is the first movie he has shown any interest in, and he absolutely loves the toy cars from the movie.  We now use them as a bribe when grocery shopping.  If he is good, stays in the cart etc. he can pick a new car....they are cheap so it's an easy treat!

5. Lawn Mowers - Evan gets so animated when it is time to mow the lawn, showing me exactly how to do it with his hands and then grabbing his mower and following me as I mow.  He tries to start my mower and loves to help me fill it with gas.  If I ever mention that I need to mow the lawn, I better be prepared to do it right then and there!

6. Vacuums - Yes the vacuum has been a favorite of Evan's for almost his entire life.  He has never been afraid of it and always wants me to vacuum (which is good since our house is ALL carpet!) Visits to consignment stores and Goodwill have blessed us with 4 vacuums (one is MIA) and he cherishes everyone!  He longs for the day he is big enough to use mine all by himself....hey I say as soon as he can go for it!

7. Nana and Papa's House - Evan loves his Nana and Papa, and when I announce that we are going to their house....he flips!  When we pull into their driveway he squeals with delight that one of them is going to come and get him and then he makes himself right at home and destroys the place!

8. Jumping from couch to ottoman and vice verse - Evan has no fear when it comes to jumping off of the couch or the ottoman....he seems to think he is invincible!

9. Parks - Any park, any time...Evan loves the park!  He loves to slide and swing and climb, he is a regular monkey!

10. Airplanes and Helicopters - Not just toys, but airplanes and helicopters in the sky, on the ground...you name it.  He loves to point them out an can spot them from far away. 

As Evan get older his favorites will change, but at 2 years old it is so fun to watch and engage him in the things he likes the most.
